The Pejman Mar Founder's Program provides an opportunity for incredibly talented students to launch their startups at the epicenter of entrepreneurship, here in Silicon Valley!
We are seeking only up to 5 teams that are very serious about pursuing their startup, who we will work closely with only a select on a very intimate basis over the course of 10 weeks, catering the experience to the needs of each particular startup.
The program starts June 27th, and ends September 2nd, 2016.
Application deadlines are:
*Round 1: February 29, 2016 - Teams will be notified by March 21, if you have been selected for a live interview
*Round 2: April 01, 2016 - Teams will be notified by April 18, if you have been selected for a live interview
We will invite teams for an in-person (or Skype if you are unable to travel) between April 18-22, 2016*.
Final decisions will be sent out: April 29, 2016*.
The program will culminate in a final presentation day where teams will present to top venture capitalists and industry executives. Unlike a traditional demo day, teams are not expected to be raising money at this time if they are not ready - it is more of a chance to meet potential investors and experienced founders and to get feedback. Our latest demo day was covered by TechCrunch, in Seven New Startups From Silicon Valley's Favorite New Demo Day.
The Program is designed, hosted and supported by Pejman Mar Ventures, an early stage tech venture fund based in Silicon Valley. The program will fund and support a select group of young startups, giving them full access to both our resources, network, while working at our hacker studio in Palo Alto, California.
*Dates are subject to change depending on the volume of applications received.

Why The Founder's Program Was Created.
The Founders Program grew out of our effort to help entrepreneurs launch and grow their ideas - and was initially an extension of our Garage Program where we host students throughout the school year.
Two years ago, we decided to create a structured program to help launch the most serious student-founded startups. For our Founders Program, we double down on finding ambitious and talented founders who thrive on solving hard problems and who are serious about pursuing their venture.
Our latest demo day was covered by TechCrunch, in Seven New Startups From Silicon Valley's Favorite New Demo Day.
The program has proven to be a huge success as alumni of the program have grown to not only receiving additional seed funding from Pejman Mar Ventures, but also top tier VCs and angel investors upon completion of the program. This includes companies such as Affinity, Nitrio, Switchmate, JetInsight and Thyme. Anotherone of the program's startups, Fancy That (a retail analytics company) went on to sell their company to Palantir.
Pejman Mar Ventures has already seeded very successful companies out of top universities such as Doordash, Aurora Solar, Branch, Polarr, Script, Captionly, and One Concern.
This year we are going to select up to 5 teams and hope you are one of them! If this program seems like the right fit for you, we would love for you to apply and become part of our "Entrepreneurial Clubhouse," as dubbed by Fortune Magazine!
